LDA of Mississippi provides the following:
- An Informational Support Center to help parents and children with learning disabilities.
- Promotes advocacy for children and parents.
- Encourages public awareness and acceptance of disabilities.
- Review MS Legislative Law and Federal Law effecting children and adults with learning disabilities.
- Coordinate communication between state and local media, and increase use of the world wide web.
- Serves as a support group for parents of children with learning disabilities.
- Assists in the establishment of local LDA chapters in individual communities.
- Presents State Conference and Seminars.
- Encourages parent understanding and responsibility for the education of their child.
- Assists in identification and support for adults with learning disabilities.
